Facial Mask Monday: Studio 35 Beauty Anti-Aging Almond Mask

I tried a single-use mask I picked up from Walgreen’s and wow, this one is a winner at the vanity!

This is Walgreen’s own brand called Studio 35 Beauty. I have used many of their house brands before and, I have not been disappointed.

This is the Anti-Aging Mask in Almond. I didn’t detect a strong almond fragrance but, what was there was pleasant and mild…

I have spent more time outdoors this summer and, the air is dry in Colorado. I work very hard to keep my skin moist and my body hydrated. More this year than every before. A hydrating mask was just the thing to try…

The directions state to leave the mask on until dry however, that didn’t happen for me. It just didn’t dry. I left it on about 25 minutes; both on my face and on the back of my hands (more on that in a sec). I went ahead and washed it off with warm water. My skin still felt marvelously smooth! So did my hands.

If you are ever uncertain about trying Walgreen’s products, they have a 100% satisfaction guarantee. This mask was approximately $1.50. That isn’t expensive at all for a little bit of pampering…

There are a lot of different ingredients in this one however, I found many of them to be known for hydrating the skin…

This package was, actually, large enough to get two facials out of it. I know that in hindsight. Since I had so much left over, I used it on the back of my hands. They certainly could use some extra moisture, as well…

lots of mask

For a small amount of money and, virtually risk free, I recommend Studio 35 Beauty’s Almond mask. My skin felt a little plumped up after using however, it is temporary and, I went to bed shortly after my treatment. This might not be for the acne-prone or hyper-sensitive skin however, I think it could be used by everyone else.

Have you given any Studio 35 Beauty items a try?

  • Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this mask! I haven’t heard of this brand before and will have to look into them. Do you think you would use the mask again?

    • Oh, certainly! I am usually skeptical to try house brands but, I have only had good experiences with Walgreen’s with the items I have tried to date.

  • mmmm Almonddddd…. it sounds like it works well, too! I’ve used this brands makeup tools before but didn’t know they had masks!

    • I am using their nail polish remover that is a knock off of Zoya’s Remove+. I like it a lot. Great price too.

  • You know me – I’m a mask fanatic! I will definitely look into this one 🙂

    • And, if you don’t like it, you can get your money back too!

  • This looks nice! I love almond and I like a good, moisturizing treatment.

    • It was very creamy and rich. Perfect!

  • marciaf

I love the smell of almonds. I love your idea of using it on your hands if there’s extra. I was looking at how my hands are aging and wondering what to do about them.

    • Me too. I have really upped the ante on trying to keep my hands moisturized as much as I do with my face.

  • For $1.50 you really can’t complain! I’ll have to find this mask- I go for all the hydration I can get 🙂

    • I was quite happy with this hydrating mask.

  • Allison @neversaydiebeauty

I’d just as soon that masks didn’t dry on my skin, so this sounds great especially for $1.50 🙂

    • I definitely don’t want drying masks!

  • I love a good mask and this Fall and Winter I will want more moisture! I like to take these little masks and put them into little plastic containers I use for depotting products. That way I can get a few more uses out it.

    • What an awesome idea! That way there’s no waste!

  • Yum! I love all things almond, so this mask is right up my alley 🙂

    • There wasn’t anything bad about this one, at all.

  • Looks great, I don’t know that I have ever tried Studio 35.

    • You’ll have to give ’em a try!

  • An almond mask sounds awesome. For $1.50, I love that you get enough to cover the face and hands!

    • There was so much that I really was able to slather it on too.

  • FabZilla_Kath

I don’t think I have tried this mask. Sounds like a nice mask for the price

    • It was very nice and I can’t recommend it enough.

  • This sounds really cool. I want almonds in my skincare

    • Everything that I have tried with almond oil in it has worked very well for me.

  • this sounds nice! I like almond, and I notice it has bentonite and kaolin clay in it for a little detox/oil absorption.

    • And even with those ingredients, it didn’t feel dry. I bet if I didn’t try to use up ALL of it at once, it would have become dry. But, I like the masks that stay moist better.

  • Love almond products!

  • Thank you for the recommendation. I see thee at my Walgreens a lot so I will totally try it out the next time I’m there.
