Freeman Beauty: Facial Moisturizing Cleaner with Kiwi and Yogurt

I have reviewed many Freeman Beauty products in the past and, I have yet to come across one that I don’t like. The Facial Moisturizing Cleanser with Kiwi and Yogurt has proven to be no exception…

Not only are Freeman Beauty products good quality, you also get your money’s worth. This tube is 6 ounces and, the cost, on the Freeman website is $4.29. That’s close to what you’ll find at the drugstores too.

The cleanser is gentle and luxurious to my skin. I consider my skin to be normal to dry so, I work towards keeping it as moist as possible and, not over-drying it. Since a large portion of my face cleansing schedule is to use makeup remover wipes for my Facial Wipe Wednesday segments, using Freeman Beauty’s creamy lotion remover was a pleasant diversion.

I found the list of ingredients rather interesting…

Lots of healthy things like fruit extracts. However, if you look closely, the back verbiage states that it is a ‘non-dairy yogurt…

Yet, in the ingredients, it lists yogurt…

Anything that I could find states that hydrolyzed yogurt protein comes from yogurt. Yogurt is considered a dairy product. Vegans do not use any products derived from animals. So, if you avoid products that contain animal-derived ingredients, you might want to investigate further. As for me, I’m just confused but OK in using this product.

This cleanser does, indeed, smell like kiwis. And, I love kiwis! The cleanser did awesome with removing all types of makeup and did so easily. It rinsed off without leaving any type of residue behind. What did leave behind was baby-soft skin…

Freeman Beauty is made in the USA and, is cruelty-free…

If you have normal to dry skin, I highly recommend Freeman Beauty’s Facial Cleanser with Kiwi and Yogurt. It will leave your skin feeling quite pampered.

Have you tried this cleanser from Freeman?

Freeman Beauty: Anti-Stress Dead Sea Minerals Mask

Using a facial mask and kicking back for a few minutes is about as close as I can get to feeling like I’m at a spa while at home. I make the simple threat request to be left alone for a few minutes while I enjoy a moment resting and letting the facial mask do its thing. It’s a good time to do some meditating.

One particular mask I have enjoyed using has been Freeman Beauty’s Anti-Stress Dead Sea Minerals Mask…

This Dead Sea Mineral mask doesn’t really have any anti-stress in it, though. I had to ‘add’ that ingredient myself! Nevertheless, I enjoyed using this mask and love the effects afterwards. Plus, as I have found with all Freeman Beauty products I have tried, there are good ingredients already in the product…

When I see the following ingredients listed, I KNOW this is a mask that is going to do some serious work on my pores: Bentonite (clay), Kaolin and Algae Extract. These guys help pull out the impurities, aka blackheads and stuff, right out of the pores. This mask is going to get hard and feel tight or, like it is pulling on your skin. But, only in the nicest of ways!

There’s also a touch of lavender and forms of menthol that make this mask smell relaxing (there’s the anti-stress ingredients, for real!) and cool to the skin…

Also a plus, Freeman Beauty doesn’t test on animals and is made in the USA…

So, I can start off feeling a bit stressed, frazzled or irritated…

And, after laying down on the bed for 10 to 15 minutes, letting the Anti-Stress Dead Sea Minerals mask do its work, thinking happy and peaceful thoughts…

When I give my face a good wash and rinse, afterwards, I can easily wind down my evening knowing that my face is clean and ready to take on tomorrow.

I purchased this product from the Freeman Beauty website.

Can you believe how teal this mask is!! Which do you prefer, clay masks or the moist kind?

Freeman Beauty: Bare Foot Peppermint and Plum Foot Lotion

I took up running about four years ago when I over-strained my shoulder and had to lay off my regular workouts of weights and kickboxing. Me, a runner. I never would have guested! But, one thing that comes with running 3 to 4 times a week is calluses on the feet. Time to bring out the big guns…

I hadn’t really paid much attention that Freeman Beauty had foot lotions until I found a bunch of these envelope packages accidentally shelved with the Freeman face masks at a Walmart.

Since I love Freeman Beauty’s wide array of facial masks, it was a no-brainer for me to pick up a few of their Bare Foot lotions. And, I was intrigued by a peppermint & plum combination…

Also, it has tea tree oil in it that promises to soothe my tired feet…

And, of course, it’s loaded with lots of other good for the skin ingredients too…

empties V-Day swatches videos grays 004My regimen is to slather on this lotion before I tuck my footsies to bed. Did my feet feel soothed? Well, actually, they did with the cooling effect of the peppermint and tea tree oil. Did my calluses go away? No, however, the soles of my feet are softer and not dry or rough. That’s OK with me. Another thing that is OK with me is that Freeman Beauty doesn’t test on animals and, it’s made right here in the US…

I did a bit of detective work and found that Freeman Beauty Foot Lotions are merchandised at Walmart in the pharmacy area where they sell shoe inserts and other foot products. When I finish up the several packages I got of these foot lotions and, am ready to purchase a larger tube, I know where to look. Also, I am signed up with the Freeman Beauty website and get sales newsletters often for even better deals.

As far as the plum and peppermint fragrance, it wasn’t overly strong yet created a nice olfactory experience to add to my bedtime routine. I like using it as a last bit of pampering before turning in.

As a side note: My goal this year is to run 10 5K races. I have one down and my second one coming up March 22. These foot lotions are a nice way for me to give back to the hard work I’m putting my feet through.

Freeman Beauty: Facial Hydrating Paper Mask Blue Agave

This happened last night…

DSCF0049

No, I haven’t become a Jason from Friday the 13th groupie. I have really dry skin during this time of the year and I needed moisture PDQ.

A month ago, I purchased a bunch of Freeman single use masks. Because the skin under my eyes and on top of my cheeks feel so dry, I was looking for a moisture treatment to soothe my skin. This is the one I picked to use…

DSCF0041 DSCF0042

Yes, my skin IS thirsty. The humidity is super low in the early Spring in Colorado. Last year, my first Spring here, my lips got so chapped. My hair was beyond parched. And, even my sinuses were dry and hurt. I’m doing better this year because I started my ‘stay moisturized’ regimen early and, I have vamped it up, overall, as well. However, my face still needs extra and Freeman’s Facial Hydrating Paper Mask was just the ticket.

This paper mask was so easy to use. There’s nothing to it, really. The serum on the mask is thick but not tacky and the minute I had the mask on and in place, it was immediately cooling and I could feel my skin drinking in the hydration…

DSCF0043

Hooray for Freeman Beauty not testing on animals!!!

This is what the mask looks like coming out of the envelope…

I open it up and separate the mask from the backing…

Then it is just positioning it on and letting it sit for 10 minutes. After the time is up, I throw away the mask and massage in the serum that is left on my skin. Again, it isn’t sticky, it doesn’t smell at all and my skin felt ‘ahhhhhh’. About 2 hours later, right before bedtime, I did put on some extra moisturizer under my eyes and on my cheeks where it had felt dry and tight before using the mask. I did that just as an extra measure.

What a treat this was! If you are experiencing dry skin any time of the year, I recommend Freeman’s hydrating mask. I got this one at Walmart for around $1.50 and, it is one that I definitely will get again.

Have you tried any of Freeman Beauty’s paper masks? How do you combat seasonal dry facial skin?
